Genevieve lives the life of a shy and neurotic book editor, shunning colleagues and striving to become the next ghostwriter for her publisher’s most popular crime series. But no one, not even her therapist, knows that Genevieve is secretly suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Although her life at home and in public is a constant struggle to avoid the stress that could cause her to tear herself apart, the random portrayal of the series and DRL begins to bother Genevieve as she is flooded with flashbacks of memories she wasn’t part of. Nervous about how dangerous he and his alter “Stevie” could be, he discovers clues to the horrors they may have been involved in. Coming dangerously close to the secrets of her past, Genevieve experiences terrifying hallucinations, getting closer to the source of her trauma and the answer to the question she’s always been afraid to ask: what happened to Genevieve?
